The National Sports Karate Association will continually build the quality of Martial Arts in the United States of America. In order for us to accomplish this task, we as an organization will always exemplify the highest standards in Martial Arts.

Master Ozzie Wright III founded the National Sport Karate Association in 1998 with the goal of building the quality of martial arts in America.  
Master Wright III held the rank of 5th dan. He was a renowned competitor and a national champion.  

Unfortunately only 2 years after founding and residing as president of the National Sports Karate Association Master Ozzie Wright III passed away at the age of 28.Every year the NSKA holds the Philadelphia Independence Open Karate Championships in his honor.

He began his martial arts training while stationed with the United States Army in the Republic of South Korea in 1969. There he achieved the rank of First Degree Black Belt, and now ranks as Grand Master 9th Degree Black Belt. As one of the foremost martial arts instructors in the United States, Grand Master Wright opened and maintains several martial arts schools in Philadelphia, New York, and Massachusetts.

Concurrently with his martial arts career, Grand Master Wright earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Temple University, a Master of Science Degree from Saint Joseph's University and postgraduate studies at Cheney University. He is currently the administrator with the School District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and an active member of the United States Army Reserve.

Using education as a vehicle to impact the future of our youth, Ozzie also employs martial arts skills to reach youth and adults from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds, teaching thousands, the way to carry on the tradition that began with Grand Master Wright.

He has trained for 40 years in martial arts, is a sixth degree black belt and co-owner of Positive Force Karate. Master Armando is a six-time world champion. He is revered as one of the world's finest competitors and has been inducted into the World Karate Hall of Fame. His contributions to the world of martial arts to this day has also lead to his induction into Action Magazine's Hall of Fame. 

Currently the president of the NSKA, Master Armando is working toward building the quality of martial arts in America. Master Armando dedicates his time and effort to making the students the best they can be.
